Fix a "Can't Boot" or "Hal.Dll Not Found" Problem Easy Without Losing Data on Windows XP

1. First, what you want to do is getting the windows disk inside there. Boot up your computer and insert the windows XP disc inside. After that, restart the computer.

2. Then, depending on what computer your using, press the one time boot up button (On dell it's f12).

3. Select CD-ROM

4. When it boots up, wait for it to load. Then press enter to continue with setup.

5. When it asks you to select a partition, select the partition that isn't booting right.

6. It'll say to either do a quick format, full format, or leave it alone

7. Select leave it alone and wait.

8. When it is finished, you have to reinstall all your drives, but when you check inside your program files...

9. BOOM! Everything SHOULD be there if you did it right.
