1. Go to start > Control Panel to open the control panel in Windows XP.
2. Click "Date,Time,Language and Regional Options" in Category view.
3. Select "Regional and Language OptionsThe "Regional and Language Options" window appears.
4. Go to "Languages" tab.
5. Click the "Details" button. The "Text Services and Input Languages" dialog box opens.
6. Click "Add" to add the input language/languages of your choice and click OK.You can delete or modify the existing list of languages using this option.
7. Now, the drop-down list under "Default input language" shows the additional languages that you have added. Select the language to be used during the start up of the system. Click OK.
