Access the Secret Administrator Account Using the Welcome Screen on Windows XP Professional Edition

1.     You should see the Welcome Screen. If you have a password on your account, click it.

  1. ALL users must be logged off with NO programs running, otherwise it will not work.

3.     Press CTRL-ALT-DEL.

  1. By the way, CTRL means Control.

5.     The Classic Windows 2000 login dialog box will appear.

  1. In the User name box, type Administrator.
  2. Leave the password box blank.

8.     You will now have access to all of the user accounts and now you can create a new user!
