- Insert the flash drive that contains the
Microsoft Windows operating system into the USB port on your computer.
- Access the BIOS Setup Utility menu during the
booting process. The method for accessing the BIOS menu will vary
depending on your computer's make and model.
Watch
your computer screen during the startup process to determine the appropriate
keyboard command to enter in order to access the BIOS menu. Visit the
"Password Unlocker" website provided to you in the Sources section of
this article to determine the correct keyboard command to press based on your
computer's make and model.
- Highlight the hard disk on which you are
installing Windows using the up or down arrow keys
- Press "Enter" on your keyboard to
select that particular hard disk.
- Navigate to the "Boot" tab using the
left or right arrow keys.
- Select "Boot Device Priority or Boot
Sequence" using the up or down arrow keys, then press
"Enter" on your keyboard.
- Highlight your USB drive from the options
provided.
- Press the plus or minus key symbols on your
keyboard until the USB drive has been selected for the option next to
"1st Drive."
- Press the F10 key to save your changes and
reboot your computer. Upon startup, your computer will now boot
using the USB flash drive. This will give you the ability to install
Microsoft Windows using your flash drive.
