Enable Autoplay in Windows 7

1. Click 'Start' or the 'Windows' button on the keyboard. This will open the Start Menu.
2. Click 'Control Panel'. A window will open in which all of the settings for the computer can be accessed and changed here.
3. Click 'Hardware and Sound'. All hardware-related settings can be changed here.
4. Click 'AutoPlay'. You will be brought to a page with a series of checkboxes and device types.
5. Make sure the box labeled 'Use AutoPlay for all media and devices' is checked. If it is checked, AutoPlay is already enabled.
6. Click 'Save'. (It is located in the bottom-right corner.) This will apply the new setting, enabling AutoPlay.
