- Click 'Start' or the 'Windows' button on the
keyboard. This will open the Start Menu.
- Click 'Control Panel'. A window will open
in which all of the settings for the computer can be accessed and changed
here.
- Click 'Hardware and Sound'. All
hardware-related settings can be changed here.
- Click 'AutoPlay'. You will be brought to
a page with a series of checkboxes and device types.
- Make sure the box labeled 'Use AutoPlay for all
media and devices' is checked. If it is checked, AutoPlay is
already enabled.
- Click 'Save'. (It is located in the
bottom-right corner.) This will apply the new setting, enabling AutoPlay.
